VICTIMIZATION OF PENSION OPTEES FOR THE BENEFIT OF PF OPTEES   (email received from Bank officer)

Many of us are not aware of the dangerous and disgusting developments happening at the bipartite roundtable. Our legitimate rights are taking a big jolt resulting in monetary losses. Friends we all know that Management has given an option for all the employees some years back to choose on their own the method of saving i.e; Pension or PF. But the majority of staff members had opted for PF because of the then tempted higher rate of interest during that period. But today they are looking for a U TURN.

The Associations and Union for their political benefits accepted the wish of their U turn and presented at the round table with the management. The reluctant management demanded associations to share the additional burden in the bipartite load allocation. As a result there will be a sharp drop in our net salary increase. Though the associations talk about the group synergy, but in practice, they are strangulating the PENSION OPTEES and are not giving the autonomy to enjoy legitimate rights. They had not taken our opinion and our welfare into consideration in bipartite discussions.

As all of us are aware, the management has offered an amount of hike which works around 40% jump, without taking the burden of PENSION amount for PF optees. Let the association take demand for 40% jump to all the PENSION optees and also to the employees who wish to continue in PF option. Let the employees who wish to change the option from PF to PENSION, get fewer hikes so that the offer of the Management will be distributed equally.

PLEASE THINK TWICE AND THRICE BEFORE YOU ARE READY FOR A BASELESS SACRIFICE FOR NO BENEFIT OF YOURS BUT FOR THE SO CALLED PROCLAIMED NETAS OF UNIONS WHO CARE ONLY FOR THEIR OWN BENEFITS WHETHER IT IS POLITICAL OR ECONOMICAL.
