Is Punishing  Recently Appointed Employees For the Sake of Pension Benefit to Seniors is Justified?

In the Circumar No.3 dated 13.04.2010 of UFBU  it was mentioned that Net Gap of 30% woule be recovered as follows:

****For existing employees/officers -- 1.6 times of payable for the month of November 2007

For employees who have joined the banks after 1.11.2007 -- their contribution would be proportionately reduced.

Many  employees/officers i.e.  those who retired on superannuation from 1.11.2007  till date i.e. before the settlement is implemented are affected as follows.

The employees/officers who retired after 1.11.207 and who have already opted for pension long back are being afftered by loosing  their entire "salary arrears" , if  recovered from them  at 1.6 times of  Pay of November 2007 . If it is so, they will be loosing almost one years' salary arrears.

I request your good selves on my behalf and on behalf of employees/ officers who  retired after 1.11.2007 (those who have already opted pension) to look  into the flaw and take steps to sort out this flaw.
