| ABOUT OUR CAMPAIGN :
For last few weeks we have publishing on
our website the views of our readers. A review of the same indicates
total frustration among the bankers. It appears their moral is
at the lowest ebb since they joined their jobs. We feel this type of
deep frustration not only affects their working in bank but also deeply
disturbs their family life.
Bankers did not have a channel to express their views. Newspapers never publish anything favoring bank employees, as they have a biased view that bankers are over paid and have little work. Union leaders do not listen to them and if any banker tries to corner them, they gang up and boo him / her down and threaten to transfer him to far away places. A general banker is afraid of union leaders and also of management. He is left with no choice but to keep on cribbing and work late at branch. We felt that they badly needed a channel to express their views and create some pressure on union leaders and IBA by bring truth in the open. By this campaign bankers can also educate their plight about low salary structure and long working hours, as a survey had clearly indicated that general public is still under the impression that banker are highly paid workers with little work. Therefore, we would like to appeal to our readers to spread a word about our campaign and tell them about this website to more and more colleagues. This will help in spreading the message to union leaders about the frustration in the cadres. Ask your colleagues to go through the contents ( including Archives) and then freely express their views by sending mail t us. (allbankingsolutions@gmail.com They can send their views on topics other than wage revision also. (Bankers will be surprised to know that till date no union leader had the guts to come out or send us any mail to explain or express his views about the frustration among the cadres expressed through our columns. We have been openly inviting them to express their comments / views). |

WHY BANKERS ARE A NEGLECTED LOT by Kishen J. It is a shame on the part of the Government to behave as a Private Employer. The private corporate sector will be much more better than the Government Employer. Now the Government Secretaries need not have to bother about the bank employees wage settlement , since their is already over with hefty pay pack and pension (not at NPS - New Pension Scheme). CMD, MDs and EDs of banks do not have any
botheration as they also got their wage revision and hefty pension.
Ministers and other parliamentarians the so called saviors of the Nation,
will have no time to look into this, since they get their regular salary
revision, confirmed pension and other benefits which is not defined any
where even they serve for a single term. They are very careful that they do
not fall under any NPS scheme or defined scheme etc since they are capable
of designing their own schemes.. |
