IBA's offer for Officers
Proposal I:
15000 Incr. 600-700-800-900-1000-1100-
Proposal II:
14200 Incr. 650-700-800-900-1000-1100- I think Unions are not happy with Proposal I. The proposal-II is ruled out as it is discrimination towards Junior Officers. Are they demanding for a better proposal from IBA for bank officers? Are they fighting for Rs.16000 basic? I Am quoting G.D.NADAF, GENERAL SECRETARY, AIBOC, (Circular No.30 dated March 12, 2010) "Comrades, we are aware of the expectations of the grass root level membership and persuading with the concerned authorities to finalise the 9th bipartite agreement at the earliest. We request our membership to understand the genuine constrains of the organisations are confronted with, and the sincere efforts in resolving these to the satisfaction of the constituency." What are the genuine constrains of the organizations? They had 3 months time to finalize the settlement. They enjoyed the meetings by eating and drinking and messed up the SETTLEMENT, and still justifying themselves. Whatever the case may be, delay in finalizing the SETTLEMENT is not justifiable. "DELAY IS THE DEADLIEST FORM OF DENIAL AND DELAY COMPOUNDS MISTAKES" Benjamin Franklin rightly told, "You may delay, but time will not. " We should also aware that the IBA Discussion panel consists of Mr. M.V. Nair, Chairman, Union Bank of India, Mr. K.R.Kamath, Chairman & Managing Director, Punjab National Bank, Mr. Jagadish Pai, Executive Director of Canara Bank. These people (are they competent enough?) are equally responsible for delay in SETTLEMENT. If UNIONS are coming out with a better proposal than IBA's proposal-I, then they can show their credibility. Otherwise, they are just making us FOOLS. (I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THEY CANNOT COME WITH A BETTER PROPOSAL AS UNION PEOPLE ARE NOT BOTHERED ABOUT THEIR MEMBERS AS MEMBERS WILL ACCEPT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING) Lets us see our fortunes. |
