Australian Team   (IBA and Government) vs Indian Team - Characteristics in Cricket Match  or Negotiation Skills

In Indian banking Industries after every five Years a Game is played between Two Parties   called wage Negotiation which can be compared with the Match between India and Australia.

On one side there is a team called Australia (IBA & Govt.) which has following Characteristics

  1. Play as Team.
  2. Captain takes to full responsibility of Win as well as Loose
  3. Well prepared for every type of Game and wicket.
  4. All strategies are discussed before match.
  5. Fully Professional and ready to accept any challenge.
  6. Ready to kick out non – performers.
  7. Do not play for enhancing Personal records.
  8. Many Other Qualities which we all know.

Now Lets us see the Characteristics of India Team (UBFU and all)

  1. No Team Spirit, Most of the Players Play to save their own skin.
  2. Captain has 110 excuses for loss of matches.
  3. Do not learn form Lost matches
  4. No strategy in Place , believers  in fate.
  5. No Information about the Strength and Weakness of opposite team players.
  6. No Professionalism and No risk of losing the seat despite several non performances.
  7. No post loss analysis.
  8. For every Win which also come by chance they are ready to take the credit and for every loose they have a team of peoples to blame.

Now , You can see that ll these characteristics are available in Banks Negotiation. On side there is a team of CMD who are on top of Ladder and are quite Powerful to turn the direction of negotiation. They have also been pampered by Govt. to give best results and maximize the profit even if it comes at the cost of exploitation.

UBfU and Co. has no active interest in wage Negotiation or saving the banking Industry. They have their own hidden agenda that no body knows except them. They have only one agenda i.e. to Oppose whatever the Govt does for taking banks Forward. In the process they oppose each and every thing vehemently and call for strike whenever they feel comfortable. For the last 15-20 years they have been pursuing the same things and the result is no body takes interest in the Union Activities. There are no elections and those who are claiming to be our leaders have no mandate; still they are preferred by IBA because they can be butchered easily by IBA like a Lion kills a Goat. Banking has taken a new dip after last settlement and after this settlement (if Happens at 17.5%) it will be at the lowest. In the whole process it is Indian Public Who will suffer the most. If wages are kept low only those people who do not qualify for other jobs will join banks and service shall further be degraded.Secondly . wage parity will increase to such a level that the workers will loose the interst in JOB. But how does it effects the Govt and IBA or CMDs. Govt can easily sell a loss making bank or ask it to go for merger. Banks CMDS are not giving even internal settlement properly. Today Bank employees shell out money from its own salary to run his house even for those  things which are fully covered as a part of wages like HRA in other sectors. For Banks Govt has Declared incentive for CMDs and EDs  which is up to 7 lacs. But down the line they have left it to CMDs which they feel that it is unfit to give incentives down the line. How can they give incentive when they are feeling that the Bank Employee  be deserve even a decent Salary. The Parity is not only with other sectors with the banks there are different level of allowances in different Banks which has made the situation even worst.

Now a days in Banks there is a State Sponsored exploitation which is going on rampantly on the behest of Government and its Nominated directors like CMD and EDs. For Bank employees there are special austerity measures which do not exist anywhere in the world.

Some Facts

  1. In India all sectors works five days a week except bank – There is no Logic for that.
  2. Only CMDS and EDs are eligible for incentive for Growth in Profit and No body else works for the growth of bank.
  3. Bank employees are not even eligible for Bonus.
  4. Bank employees do not deserve a good salary.
  5. Bank officers should work for 24 hours without asking for a rest. He should have no emergency at Home and he should always be ready to sacrifice his family for work.

The list is endless but in the end I will say that

We as a Indian

  1. Condemn Government and IBA and our so called Unions for delaying wage negotiation.
  2. Condemn Corporate Exploitation rampant in Banking and government heading the exploiting Team.
  3. Reducing workers to machine and putting them under unnecessary stress and putting their lives in danger.
  4. No parity with any sector.
